Fine chocolatiers make and sell truffles, sometimes at exorbitant prices. Truffles are often enrobed in tempered chocolate coatings, but they’re also very, very good rolled in simple unfussy coatings.
They’re actually very simple to make at home. All you need is boiling hot cream, good quality chocolate, some flavorings, something to roll them in, and a little bit of time.
